Whew！I struggled with this one！ This was just not my cup of tea。 I love and read every book by this author but this one had me backpeddling。 I think maybe I am a prude but the plethora of gratuitous sex scenes was my undoing。 I tried to still skip through them， then it had to be a cliffhanger。 I give up！ No more！

Thrilling readFinley is a strong， independent and fiercely loyal character and Nyfain， a guilt laden young man with a huge weight on his shoulders。 Individually， both characters are great but together they’re exciting and left me wanting more。The plot is fantastic and the story is very well written。I can’t wait to read more about them！

Great storyCharacters are great so is the story。 Just dislike the profanities and all the sex。 Why do you want to X-Rate your books， you are such an excellent writer。 There are not many who can make your heart pound by stringing words together， but you can。 Or make a person look so forward to the next book， but you can。 I would just encourage you to clean up the sex scenes and use that imagination to make these books even more exciting。

beasts are beautiful This story had a little of everything。 It’s hot， sweet， endearing， exciting， and engaging。 The two main characters couldn’t come from more different backgrounds， could they overcome their differences。 What is going to happen to the kingdom and all the villages？ Jump right into this dark fairytale and try your best to figure out what’s next。 Super read！！ Enjoyed every minute of it。

Very different read for me， kinda fairytale。 Nyfain is from the dragon kingdom and she is a villager who is drawn to him。 She is a healer in herbs and he finds her fascinating。 She is not aware that she has a demon inside her but Nyfain draws hers out。 Can’t wait for the next book not my normal read but I liked it。

Too much sexual “shock” factorThis was not what I was expecting。 The story and plot was dampened by the need to create sexual scenarios and crude talk。 I’m not sure if it was to try and shock the reader， but it came across as poorly written and over the top without finesse。 I would have enjoyed more character building with not only the leads but also the side characters。

BLOODY BRILLIANT I want to be Finley…。。 She is just the strongest badass women。 What an amazing beginning to what will be a sensational series。 I am chomping at the bit to get the next book and see what Finley does to the prince。 A curse has been laid on the land。 A prince who’s given up。 A strong women to kick hiss but into gear。 Such a phenomenal read。 Absolutely one of my favourite books so far this year
